Laser hair removal for men
A lasting alternative to constant shaving
Laser hair removal thins out regrowth and makes the hair finer with every session, so you shave less and less often and your skin stays calmer. Our treatment is designed specifically for men's skin and men's hair, on the whole body.
At Beautyflow for Men we work with the Nubway Hairless Vario diode laser, building on 10 years of professional experience from our Beautyflow women's salon. Alongside effectiveness, the health of our client's skin matters most to us: every time, we adapt the treatment settings to your skin type, the thickness of your hair and the area being treated, and we carry out the treatment with cooling that protects the skin.
Before every treatment, we examine your skin and hair type in a free consultation and, based on our 10 years of professional experience, tell you honestly how many sessions you will need. We carry out the treatment in a calm, well-kept environment in our salon in the 13th district.
Why do you need several sessions?
Hairs do not all grow at once: each one lives in its own cycle, made up of a growth, a transition and a resting phase. The laser light is absorbed by melanin, the pigment in the hair, turns into heat and damages the hair follicle. However, this only works on hairs in the growth phase, and on any given day usually only about 20–30% of your hair is in that phase.
The other hairs “switch on” over the following weeks, which is why we repeat the treatments at intervals matched to the rhythm of hair growth. Facial hair renews itself faster, while hair on the torso and legs does so more slowly, so longer breaks are needed on the body. As the series progresses, the surviving follicles return to the growth phase more slowly, so the intervals gradually get longer too. In men, hair is usually thicker, denser and more stubborn, and hormones also influence hair growth, so the treatment series is often longer than you would expect.
Brigi
I qualified as a cosmetician more than twenty years ago, and I used to run my own salon. Precision and cleanliness have always mattered most to me.
I love working with people, paying attention to what they need, and helping them feel more confident. It is a particular pleasure to work in modern beauty care at the Beautyflow for Men salon.
At the Beautyflow women's salon I completed several months of specialist training, so that I can perform laser hair removal with the greatest care.

Visible, lasting results
Building on our 10 years of professional experience and modern diode laser technology, the aim of the treatment is for the hair to become sparser and finer in the long term. In clinical studies, the diode laser achieved a 60–88% hair reduction after a few treatments. Before the treatment, we will tell you honestly what to expect.
Scientific background and sources
Laser light is converted into heat in the melanin of the hair follicle and damages the follicle. Because only some of the hairs are in the active growth phase at any given time, several treatments are needed. According to the FDA definition, “permanent hair reduction” is a long-term, stable reduction in the number of regrowing hairs, not the disappearance of every hair for good. Individual results depend on hair colour and thickness, body area and skin type.

How we work
What our clients ask most often
Why can I trust Beautyflow for Men's laser treatment?
Beautyflow for Men builds on the 10 years of professional experience of the Beautyflow women's salon. Every treatment starts with a free consultation, where we examine your skin and hair type and tell you honestly what to expect.
How effective is diode laser hair removal?
In clinical studies, the diode laser achieved a 60–88% hair reduction after a few treatments. This means a lasting reduction in the number of regrowing hairs, not the permanent disappearance of every hair. Individual results depend on hair colour and thickness, body area and skin type. Before the treatment, we will tell you honestly what to expect.
How many sessions does laser hair removal take for men?
The full treatment series is usually 6–12 sessions. Men's hair is thicker and more stubborn, so more sessions may be needed. In the consultation, we examine your skin and hair type and tell you what to expect in your case. After the series, 1 maintenance treatment a year is enough.
Does laser hair removal hurt?
It causes a brief, warm, stinging sensation that many people compare to a rubber band snap. We carry out the treatment with cooling to protect the skin; on more sensitive areas the sensation may be stronger.
When does the hair fall out after the treatment?
Not immediately. The treated hairs shed over days to weeks, so at first the hair may stay visible for longer. Do not wax or epilate between treatments, because the laser needs the root of the hair.
Who is laser hair removal not recommended for?
Not recommended while taking photosensitising medication; medical consultation is required beforehand. We do not carry out the treatment in cases of active skin disease, wounds, infection or herpes in the area to be treated, cancer or skin cancer, or on a recent tan.
Does the laser work on blond, grey or red hair?
The laser is most effective on dark hair. On blond, grey and red hair it works less well or not at all, because the light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair. In the consultation, we will tell you what to expect for your hair.
How much does laser hair removal cost for men?
Prices differ by area and package; the full list can be found on the Price list page. The opening offer (−40%) applies to laser hair removal prices, runs until 1 December 2026, and is deducted only from the price of the first treatment.
